Faculty in WLC lead sessions exploring the intersection of food, agriculture, marketing, and language from an international perspective. Students were introduced to topics such as obesity in Mexico, beer brewing and purity laws in Germany, and labeling of pharmaceuticals across Europe and the US.

Current and future students interested in combining a major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with the study of second language and culture should contact the WLC adviser, Dr. Sandra Looft, for more information on the LCP (Language and Cultures for Professions) program.
