Meet Benito Kayenge

ISU student, Benito, speaks with another student in Berlin

Here in WLC you’ll find a mix of people from many different places, with many different lived experiences, speaking many different languages. Many international students are hired to speak their mother tongue with our students who are learning. Spanish has Mesa Español, German has Stammtisch, and French has Cafe+. If you’ve been working on your français over the last couple of years, you would have met and worked on your pronunciation with Benito Kayenge, an economics major originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Benito was recently interviewed for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences magazine. Check out the great article about a great member of the greater WLC crew!
